Collaboration board

What do you do with an old television trolley? We turned ours into a four-sided whiteboard and have used it for a range of purposes.

For our VIBE festival in 2015 and 2016, we set up a range of challenges for Year 5 – 7 students. We have set up discussions about our Library, what it does well and what it could do better. Over winter we ran some magnetic poetry, sudoku (with letters and numbers), and target words. Mrs. Smith was the star  provider of the mind games sourcing a number of great puzzles. Every activity has been very popular, and has appealed to different personalities. This is what is on there today:

  1. What a great idea and I love that there’s a range of things to try as well as a place to offer some input. All positive ways to create a sense of ownership of the library service.

    1. Thanks, Cathy. This is the value of a sharing online community where we can all learn from each other. So many possible solutions are already out there we just need to know about them.
