Recently our school ran a special event for students in Years 5 – 7 from our school and our region. It was called VIBE and covered exposure to a range of programs and facilities that we offer. This wonderful clip, created by a Year 9 student shows the parameters of the event.
The Library’s contribution to the Vibe festival was an activity called “Treasure Hunt”, a showcase of a wide range of resources to which we provide access. Lots of gold was used in setting it up – and many golden moments are reflected in the images taken on the day. You will recognize where the images shown in the film clip are from the library as you scroll down the page.
We had a wonderful morning, and many students came back at recess and lunchtime to continue some of the tasks. Thanks are due to Krystal and Josh for helping to set up; Grace, Clare and Brooke; Mr Steer, Mr Clode and Mrs Smith.
VIBE sums us up – VITAL BOOKS INFORMATION and EQUIPMENT – at our school library!
