Blind date with a book

This year we didn’t get organised in time for Library Lovers’ day, but coming into a long weekend in the winter is a good time to curl up somewhere warm and read a book.

We created QR codes with some information about the story line, then wrapped the books in brown paper a tied them with a ribbon. A couple of small tablets (Acer 7inch) were placed on the bench with the books and Josh was on hand to help with any queries.

All wrapped and ready to delight

Many thanks to Captain Krystal for the idea, selection and wrapping and Vice-Captain Josh for the QR codes and the assistance with the set up and running of the event!
